History and Establishment
Leading University was founded in 2001 by the renowned philanthropist and educational enthusiast of Sylhet, Dr. Syed Ragib Ali. His primary goal was to establish an affordable, high-quality, and research-driven institution that could equip students in Sylhet with a modern education. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh as one of the country’s leading private universities.
