Overview
Metropolitan University (MU) is a UGC-approved private university in Sylhet and the region’s first permanently chartered private institution. It started operations on May 3, 2003, initially with only 17 students in two departments (BBA and CSE). Today, it has around 3,500 students and over 3,000 graduates. Entry Requirements: Minimum combined GPA 6.0 in SSC & HSC (with GPA ≥ 2.5 individually); O/A Level equivalents accepted. Separate quota and fee waivers for freedom fighters’ children.
